Until the time when the Spanish came, they gave the town folks a saint \u2013 Senior San Antonio de Padua \u2013 and later on the town folks have agreed to change its name after the saint and celebrate its annual fiesta every June 13th.<\/p><p>And because of its cool weather, the town folks have grown Lanzones trees and sell the fruits during harvest seasons at a good price. This also serves as their alternative source of income.<\/p><p><br \/>Aside from the cool to warm weather, the Barangay is mostly known for its magical tales. Foreign and domestic tourists come to the barangay during the Holy Week or even on regular days to consult the \u201cquack doctors\u201d who could cure different illnesses or asked for potions for different purposes.<\/p><p>Its people were then, uneducated due to absence of school facilities and their only means of living are farming and coconut\/copra selling. As years passed by, its people have realized the importance of education and send their children to school.
